    Legendary designer Slava Zaitsev

    A household name in Russia

Legendary designer Slava Zaitsev seduces his current audiences as easily as he did when he first launched his career in the early 1960s.
His signature gowns and coats, often made with the rich, traditional floral prints of Pavlovo Posad scarves, are finished with a couture-like hand. His name is the epitome of luxury.

Zaitsev is a household name in Russia. During the 1960s and 1970s, he was known in the French press as the Soviet Union’s answer to Christian Dior, or rather, the “Red Dior.” In an article called “Postcards From the USSR” in its October 1988 issue, Vogue called Zaitsev “the tsar of Soviet fashion.” And this hasn’t changed today.

In 2020, Slava Zaitsev will reveal new additions to his creative world.

    “ Slava handmade watch ”

There’s no question that 2020 will be a memorable fashion moment for the house as we will reveal our first fully handmade watch. Zaitsev signed a partnership with a Swiss master watchmaker to create truly artistic timepieces. Because watches are part of his clients’ world, Zaitsev has been sure to mark this season with the launch of his watch.

Slava Zaitsev is the definition of a fashion designer, and today, time is the ultimate luxury. Combining both will be at heart of the new, upcoming, spectacular, one-of-a-kind timepieces.

    “ Slava bags & accessories ”

Zaitsev is proud to announce the launch of a new line of bags and accessories. The house has partnered with one of the oldest, French, family-owned artisanal companies with haute-couture expertise to interpret Zaitsev’s vision. In a world obsessed with trendy bags, this new line will reflect the unparalleled signature of the house’s craftsmanship.

    “ Slava perfume line ”

Slava Zaitsev’s new identity would not be complete without a perfume line. He has been working on the scents for many years, developing new fragrances to match his vision. By adding haute parfumerie to its repertoire, the house is realizing the designer’s full potential in this new decade.

Zaitsev has teamed up with one of the French perfume sector’s most respected specialists to create the house’s new perfume line, an elegant scent, an ode to life. Each fragrance will encapsulate a different facet of the brand.
